My husband bought this for me as a Christmas present a couple of years ago. I had always wanted a KitchenAid stand mixer. Unfortunately, this is not at all what I had envisioned. I have only used it a few times, and every time I had issues. The attachments do not reach the bottom of the bowl and I always have to use other means to mix the ingredients together. I had to either scrape the dough into another bowl and use a whisk to mix the ingredients, or remove the bowl and use a hand mixer to incorporate the ingredients.
It is very difficult to get the bowl on the hooks and to fit the attachments.
I really wish I had went with a high-quality hand mixer instead. Very disappointed in this very expensive gadget.

I had a red Pro 600 that worked perfectly well that I passed on to my niece when I saw that KitchenAid made it in Purple...my favorite color! I had to have it. This mixer is brilliant and works like a charm on everything. We also recently purchased the metal meat grinder and that works superbly as well. If you need a mixer that does more than just mix, you definitely need one of these babies! The bowl is nice and big and there are so many attachments for it that make it easy to do so many things.

I bought this a month ago - I had the Artisan series that after almost 20 years needed to be retired - so given that I have been making bread as well as baking up a storm - I thought it a good time to upgrade - and was it ever. This mixer can handle it all. I really needed a mixer that could handle heavy dough without burning out the motor or ambling across the counter as it mixes - and this one does just that. I also bought the 5 qt bowl (it comes with the 6 qt) so I can do smaller recipes. I also bought the coated dough hook and flat beater - I wanted to have the option to put them in the dishwasher. I am very pleased.

This is my second kitcheaid mixer. Prior to this one I had the tilt head stand mixer. I had if for over 5years and it was still pretty much brand new even though I use it all the time. My husband gave me this one because I always complained I needed a bigger bowl. I am so thrilled with it. First and foremost, the color!! Purple is my favorite color and I always get everything I can in that color. I was so happy when I opened this one. It works great and I haven't had any complaints thus far. I look forward to many recipes being made in this mixer.

For a birthday gift I was given a kitchen aid mixer! I though I would never use it. I use my kitchenaid all the time! I have the 6 quart bowl life professional 600 and I love it! I was able to make 13 dozen cookies in the mixer no problem! Easy clean up! Would recommend this mixer to anyone!

I received this as a Christmas gift and I love it. The bowl is large enough to handle double cookie batter recipes. Mixes smooth, easy to use, easy to clean. The whisk will whip cream so easy and makes a great meringue.

I bought this mixer 2 weeks ago and I used it yesterday for the first time. The bowl jumps when it is in use. I had it on the lowest speed setting, 1, and the bowl jump. I tried it on 2 and the bowl continued to jump. It was properly attached to the mixer. I half to hold the bowl by the handle in order to finish mixing my pie filling.

I purchased this mixer in January of 2017, from a Everything Kitchens. Since taking it out of the box, it didn't sound the same as my smaller Kitchenaid 300, that I got almost 20 years ago. But I didn't think much of it, it was a bigger machine so maybe that's why it sounded different. I didn't realize that the sound was actually a bad motor. It started smoking while making bread dough (only 5th time using it because the sound made me nervous). I called and Kitchenaid refuses to replace it. They say it's out of warranty (I thought it had lifetime to begin with). Who buys a stand mixer for $350.00 that they can only use 5 times! Very disappointed in the quality of this machine. I still love my old one that is half the size but because they refuse to stand by their product when I'm barely out of warranty. I will NEVER buy Kitchenaid again! It still looks brand new as I have barely used it and have taken great care of it. Kitchenaid must have new ownership because their quality has gone down greatly! My 20 year old Kitchenaid is a superior product to this pile of junk! Don't waste your money!!!!

I replaced a 9 year old unit that developed problems, the new one is larger and has more power. I use it all the time and make my own bread as well as use attachments. it is quiter and sounds more solid than the old unit. Very pleased

Was gifted the professional series mixer as an upgrade to my classic series mixer. I absolutely love it, it fits under my counters easier since it's not the tilt-head and holds so much more.
